The Company
Fluid Tech, Inc. (FTI) was founded in 1985 specifically to develop products to solidify and render leach-resistant a wide variety of radioactive liquids, sludge, and contaminated soil waste. Since then the company has grown steadily by broadening its range of environmental services and products to meet the challenges of dealing with marine and non-radioactive hazardous wastes. As it completes its third decade, FTI has established international recognition as a leading hazardous waste technology company.
FTI solves environmental problems for the government and private industry by utilizing applied Research and Development and the expert knowledge of its staff. FTI is committed to providing a complete range of engineering, products, and technology services through its three divisions: Fluid Tech for radioactive waste and dust suppression, Marine Systems for fresh and saltwater remediation, and HAZCO for hazardous waste.
The People
The FTI team is central to the company's record of success. The staff has both educational and practical experiences in disciplines ranging from Physics, Chemistry and Public Health, to Mechanical, Industrial and Ocean Engineering. FTI professionals are encouraged to excel by pursuing advanced degrees and courses through seminar participation, and by publishing technical papers. Many have achieved international recognition in their field.
